Music

Here follows a selection of music and sound clips from films, albums & recording sessions Dom has played oboe and/or cor anglais on - or English horn for our American friends. The first sound clip for Johnny Douglas, renowned composer of the Railway Children, involved Dom, just 25 at the time, turning up to Whitfield Street Studios to discover he had a substantial oboe solo to record with London's finest session musicians in the Dulcima Symphony Orchestra. The second bit of music below was a solo overdub recording session for composer Dan Selby, which can also be heard here on his SoundCloud. Last but not least is Dom's famous oboe solo, well, cor anglais solo actually, on the film Bridget Jones's Diary at the moment Bridget discovers the girl from the New York office in the bathroom - whoops! More music Dom has played on can be found on his Videos page or his social media Links page.
